​Rene regularly speaks on justice and trauma-related issues. Her speaking engagements include large nonprofit events such as Break the Silence events in Washington, DC, fundraisers such as the Community for Affordable Housing, and many literary events and festivals. She is a dynamic and touching speaker who speaks on issues including trauma and healing. She has appeared on many podcasts.

Rene retains her license as an investigator in the state of Oregon. She is available for mitigation and fact work, and is versed in criminal, civil and federal work, from juvenile to capital. She maintains the strictest confidentiality in her investigative work.

In addition to her speaking and investigative work, Rene occasionally accepts book coaching clients. She has successfully coached clients from the first page to landing a publishing deal.
